Avoid Heat Stress When you Cycle

Excessive heat strain during exercise usually does not occur unless temperature and humidity are high, the air is stagnant, you do not rehydrate effectively, or you are not adequately acclimatized to the heat all of which happen during the summer months. Two ways to reduce the impact both from a body stress perspective but also on ensuring solid training is the natural benefit wind moving across your body provides which encourages convective heat loss but also sweating.  However, sweating comes as the expense of your body fluids.
